Beware of Scams Misusing ASTA's Name – A Public Interest and Advisory Notification


Dear ASTA Students, Supporters, and Members of the Public,

We are writing to alert you about a serious and growing concern that threatens the safety, integrity, and trust of our vibrant learning community. It has come to our attention that ‘unauthorised individuals and groups are impersonating Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy (ASTA)’ including the illegal and unethical use of Avadhut Sir’s and ASTA’s name, photographs, and AI-manipulated videos across Facebook, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms.

These individuals and entities are falsely claiming affiliation with ASTA and are luring individuals into WhatsApp groups, personal interaction and guidance by promising:

Stock tips, free advisory/ training, investment advice, guaranteed returns, get-rich-quick schemes, to name a few.

We have also been alerted that a few individuals are mis-using ASTA’s name to provide private financial advisory, trade strategy, and tips. We advise caution against all such individuals. We want to state, clearly and unequivocally that;


ASTA and / or its representatives DO NOT, AND WILL NEVER


  • Offer stock tips, trading calls, or investment recommendations
  • Guarantee returns or promise “easy money”
  • Run advisory services under any guise
  • Offer brokerage, fund management, portfolio management or any such services
  • Sell software, AI-driven trade mechanisms, algo trading models, or any other trading-related solutions

ASTA STANDS FOR


  • Skill building: trading as a serious professional skill
  • Equipping individuals to develop the right mindset, methods, and discipline
  • Encouraging informed investing and financial literacy
  • Upholding ethical education, process driven skill building

Legal Action Underway


We view these impersonation attempts as not only fraudulent but also as an attack on the principles of responsible investing and ethical education. We are actively pursuing legal remedies under applicable laws. ASTA has taken up the issue with relevant authorities, regulators, and platforms to ensure these perpetrators are brought to justice.


Public Interest Advisory


We urge all members of the public to:

  • Verify the authenticity of any communication using ASTA or Mr. Avadhut Sathe’s name.
  • Avoid joining unverified WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook groups or any such communities claiming to be affiliated with ASTA.
  • Report suspicious activity immediately at hoshiyar@avadhutsathe.com.
  • Share this message with your network to prevent innocent individuals from falling prey to these schemes.
